Small shop conversion micro listed in GBG 2026. Small counter on the left with banquette seating on the right, the floor level goes up a step halfway in. Obviously a long thin space with toilets at the back. Six pulls with beers from Bradfield, Titanic, Hawkshead and Abbeydale and the resurrected Boddingtons, I think the heatwave may have defeated their cooling as the quality wasn’t great, but I was drinking a 3.4% beer. There’s an old video games table and a more modern machine. The keg choice is a little less scintillating than the cask, two low T-bars have fairly standard beers, Efes looked be to the only unusual one.

‘Sort of’ micro (piped music). Wood block walls and pretty busy. Four cask on over six pumps, my Little Critters Crocodile was a bit loose but just about par (NBSS 3). GBG listed. The unusual name is that is connected to Bar 1 next door which is more of a cocktail place. 6.5

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bar 2

Micro-pub benefitting from a little extra outdoor seating out on the south-facing pavement. As you would expect, the emphasis here is on decent beer and good conversation, and in both respects this one does well. With four of the six handpumps in use, I found a pair from Stancill - Barnsley Bitter and the seasonal Nobby Dancing (£3.40) - DV8 from Deeply Vale and Bradfield Farmers Blonde (with their stout on next).
